Families around the world are discovering that e-bikes and children go together well. Kids love them. For today’s urban parents in cities with advanced bike infrastructure, the e-bike has become the new minivan. Some of these families even say they no longer need a car, and certainly not two of them.
All sorts of new configurations of electric bikes are showing up to meet the needs of young families with small children. Especially in urban centers of Europe where bike culture is more deeply ingrained, parents are using e-bikes to transport children to schools, parks, to see friends and family, and run other errands. There seems to be no end to the innovative new e-bike designs.
