Your bike: I have two Pedego e-bikes – an Interceptor and an Element. We love Pedegos because, in our opinion, they are the gold standard for e-bikes: top-notch quality, awesome service, a warranty that can’t be beat.
Your rides: We like to ride three to four times a month. We’re both still working so weekends are our only time to get in a good 25-30 miles.
Longest ride: We’ve taken two large, multi-day trips. The first was 350 miles on the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Towpath from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., over 10 days. The other was riding 400 miles on the Erie Canalway Trail from Buffalo to Albany, New York, over 10 days. The Erie Canalway trip was my favorite.
Why e-bikes? I love riding along the beach in our own backyard. We have miles of coastal bike paths we can ride year-round. Riding our Pedegos has been a game-changer for us. My bike partner was a long-distance biker when she was younger, so when we started riding I could never keep up with her on her regular bike. When we got Pedegos, I coul easily keep up. It opened a whole new world of adventure for us.
